Oluwatobi N. Akande is an Associate Professor of Computer Science in the Department of Computer Science, Nile University, Abuja. He obtained a Bachelor of Technology and Master of Technology degrees in Computer Science from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria, in 2012 and 2015, respectively. He also obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Science from the Department of Computer Science, University of Ilorin, Nigeria, in 2021. He has a passion for problem-oriented research, which employs the knowledge of computing he has acquired over the years to solve his immediate societal problems. However, his research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Data and Information Security and Medical Image Analysis. The output of his research has been published in more than 70 journals and international conferences. He is an active member of professional bodies such as IEEE, IAENG Computer Science, Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), Academics in IT Professions (AITP), and Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN). He is also the BoT Vice-Chairman, Nigeria Society of Data Analysts and Business Intelligence Experts(NSDABIE).
