Mr. Patrick X. ZHANG has a track record of innovation, leadership, and attainment of business results in the Chemical industry, pharmaceutical engineering, technical management, technological innovation, and Product Design and Development. He has over 10 years of technical, operations, and strategic leadership experience related to chemical product manufacturing and Pharmaceutical Product R&D and product release. His work has taken Product development technology from scholarship to practice in China and Asia, enabling an innovative path for empoldering new products and implementing marketization.
Mr. Patrick X. ZHANG played a critical role in a team and developed two start-ups into successful enterprises. He has dozens of patents constituting the core technology to develop healthy products based on natural products.
Mr. Patrick X. ZHANG is a nationally recognized National innovation engineer in China. He is the recipient of the 2017 Award of “Chunhui Cup”, a pioneering Competition for Overseas Chinese Scholars. In 2018, he was awarded The Star of China's silicon valley Award in Technology Innovation, a nationally recognized chemical engineering award for innovation, creativity, and impact of bringing a new product to market.
Currently, Mr. Patrick X. ZHANG is the Director of Technology Commercialization in Vision Science Research SDN.BHD. He brings His expertise in innovation and entrepreneurship to foster and enable the commercialization of university-based discoveries and young startup companies to succeed.
Mr. Patrick X. ZHANG has worked in SINOPEC in China and the University of Basel in Switzerland successively, Engaged in technology innovation and technology management. Mr.
Patrick X. ZHANG received his Master Degree in Management, Technology & Entrepreneurship from EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne) in Switzerland and MESc Master Degree in Chemical Engineering management from Tianjin University in China.
